Przedmiotem tej pracy są wytworzone i rozpowszechniane w sieci dyskursy cyfrowe. Mają one specyficzne cechy, które stawiają przed językoznawstwem szczególne wyzwania: chodzi o znalezienie adekwatnych narzędzi ich analizy i opisu. Natura cyfrowego przekazu jest złożona, bo obejmuje on nie tylko elementy językowe (w tradycyjnym rozumieniu), ale i technologię komputerową. Przekaz ulega w sieci delinearyzacji (niekoniecznie rozwija się w porządku syntagmatycznym, jak w epoce przedcyfrowej) poprzez łącza hipertekstowe, które przekierowują tekst i jego czytelnika do innego przekazu, w inne okno przeglądarki, do innej sytuacji wypowiadawczej. Przekaz cyfrowy ulega w sieci partycypacyjnej zwielokrotnieniu, pomnożeniu – nie tylko poprzez aktywne łącza, komentarze, ale i obrazy. Czytelnik tekstu cyfrowego jest jednocześnie jego wytwórcą. Natywne cyfrowe teksty mogą być przedmiotem lektury cząstkowej, niechronologicznej, są zatem niedokończone, otwarte i nieprzewidywalne. Mają charakter relacyjny (wszystkie są powiązane poprzez algorytmy sieciowe z innymi dyskursami), są tym samym przeszukiwalne, to jest istnieją w obszarze zdeterminowanym przez technologię i zawierają narzędzia umożliwiające wyszukiwanie i zbieranie danych.

This article focuses on native digital discourses, presenting particular features which require the language sciences to set up methodological and theoretical devices that can account for them: their composition (they are composite, made up of a mixed material which indistinguishably enters language and technology of a computer nature), their delinearization (they do not necessarily develop along the specific syntagmatic axis of the thread of the discourse in pre-digital theory because they can be delinearized by hypertext links, which direct the source text and its reader to another discourse, in another browser window and another situation of enunciation), their increase (they testify to an enuncia-increasedtion, due to the conversational nature of the social web allowing comments or writing tools such as pads, enabling collective writing in a unique enunciation), their relationality (they are all inscribed within a relationship, with other discourses, with devices, with writers and screenwriters), their investigability (they are inscribed, in the material sense of the term, in a universe riddled with research and redocumentation tools) and their unpredictability (they are partly produced and / or shaped by programs and algorithms, which makes them unpredictable for human enunciators).
