Igor Borkowski

"Prof. Igor Borkowski (Dr. habil. in humanities), journalist, media, socio-po- litical and academic editor. Formerly affiliated with the Faculty of Philology, University of Wrocław (1999–2020), he currently works as a vice-dean for Educational Affairs at the Faculty of Law and Social Communication, SWPS University in Wrocław, he also serves the 2020–2023 term as a member of the Polish Accreditation Committee. His research interests focus on the language of propaganda and persua- sion; communication effectiveness, modern Polish journalistic reportage; thanatology; anthropology of communication; media education.
